Diane Stephenson has been involved in the fashion industry for 30 years.
After graduating from Auckland University and a period teaching Diane started Modes in Broadway Newmarket 25 years ago.
Travelling regularly to Australia, the States and Europe keeps Diane and her assistant Katherine Lonsdale inspired and up to date with the latest trends in fabrics, styling and accessories. Working closely with her suppliers and manufacturers over the 25 years Diane ensures that they too are in tune with what the market wants. This means that Modes gets exclusivity on many of the collections to provide that point of difference sought by our clients. As a result Diane and Katherine are usually the first to view such collections in order to assess gaps in the range and feedback on length, colour options and appropriateness for the market.
