Only photo I could find was taken nearly 3 years ago, at my sisters 40th birthday party. The theme was "op shop posh". I am rocking a dress bought from the Opunake thrift shop for $5. It was not long after Dad died and the first big party we had been to. Smiling through the tears!

This is one of my favourite photos of Mum and I, taken at Westshore Beach in Napier on New Years Eve, many years ago!

It's a family tradition to go down to Westshore on New Years Eve, eat fish and chips, play beach cricket, and then back home to see the New Year in!

It was a cold and windy New Years Eve this particular year!
