Claire is a NZ registered nutritionist who trained in UK as dietitian. Alongside her dietetic and fitness qualifications, Claire is an accredited sports dietitian having studied at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. She has worked in hospitals and currently operates from her private practice, Mission Nutrition, running clinics, workplace wellness seminars and offering sports nutrition advice. She is a regular commentator on nutrition in the media, and appears regularly on television and radio. She also consults to the Millennium Institute of Sport with a range of athletes as well as looking after North Harbour Rugby Academy and Air NZ cup players.
